What is crossfit 

CrossFit is the sport of fitness. We are a core strength and conditioning program designed to optimize physical competence in ten recognized domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. Our approach to fitness is evidence based and supported by measureable, observable, repeatable facts. We believe that harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition, and fun of sport or game, yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other means.

 As professional firefighters, we regularly see the consequences of a lack of fitness in the lives of people. It is our desire to educate, encourage and empower people to enrich their lifestyle through the practical application of fitness and nutrition in their daily lives. We also believe as firefighters we owe it to our citizens to maintain a high level of fitness so we can perform our jobs well. We are reaping the benefits of this passion of ours and it is our desire to pass it on to you.
